As part of its collaboration with Tool Foundry, the National Geographic Society invites accelerator applicants to apply for an exclusive grant opportunity.
Teams that applied for the Tool Foundry accelerator are eligible to apply for the National Geographic Society Bonus Award. This grant opportunity, which may provide up to $50,000 per team, is exclusively available to Tool Foundry applicants. Recipient team leads will also become National Geographic Explorers, giving them access to the Society’s Explorer community.
To apply for the grant, Tool Foundry applicants must submit a separate application through the National Geographic Society’s grants portal by June 28, 2019, in accordance with the Society’s grant eligibility requirements. The Society is seeking teams working on tools in R&D or testing phases that will help protect the planet, support living smarter, and/or activate the next generation.
